Krytox™ GPL 207 is a grease with excellent chemical, thermal and mechanical properties.
It consists of perfluoropolyether (PFPE), a liquid and very inert fluoropolymer, and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as a functional thickener.
The PTFE, also sold under the brand name Teflon® by the original manufacturer DuPont®, is a thermally stable dry lubricant with exceptional properties.
In addition to the thickening effect, the PTFE used ensures greater stability and greater safety through additional emergency running properties.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are required.

Krytox™ GPL 207 is non-flammable and non-combustible. Furthermore, it also does not support combustion, even in the presence of 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen.

Krytox™ GPL 207is insoluble in common solvents. Special solvents are required for the dilution, cleaning and removal of Krytox™ products.
