Krytox™ GPL 106 is an oil with excellent chemical, thermal and mechanical properties.
It consists of perfluoropolyether (PFPE), a liquid and very inert fluoropolymer.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance
to aggressive chemicals are required.
Krytox™ GPL 106is extremely temperature and pressure resistant. It is non-flammable and non-combustible. Furthermore, it also does not support combustion, even in the presence of 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen. It is oxygen compatible and resistant to aggressive chemicals.
Krytox™ GPL 106 is chemically inert and biologically neutral.
Because Krytox™ Series products are not metabolites, they do not support biological growth.
Krytox™ GPL 106 does not migrate even at high temperatures, is silicone and chlorine free and does not emit any volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
